Nawroz - New Year

We were supposed to be in the centre at 4pm for a Hip-Hop festival but we couldn't make it. After all, we heard, the festival was bad. We were only in the centre around 6pm. Later on, we met Enrico, Klaus and Stephane. We went to the Capitole where people were celebrating Nawroz. Every year on March 21st, the Kurdish people celebrate Nawroz. In the Kurdish language, Nawroz means "new day", by which the Kurds mean the first day of spring. The Kurdish calendar begins on this day. Nawroz, therefore, is the new day, the first day of spring, the first day of the new year.
